TotalFinder = Finder + What it Should Be

by

Recently Chris and I were looking into some solutions to optimize our Finder experience in OSX. With the recent upgrade from 10.6 to 10.7 we were left talking about features we liked, features we didn’t like and features we’d like to see. We were both a little surprised we hadn’t found it sooner.

by

From the jump, “Tell It to the Frogs” was a marked improvement over last week’s “Guts” in just about every conceivable way. In fact, the episode was such an accomplishment in character work and tone, that it has so far come the closest to truly embodying its source material.

Fallout: New Vegas Review: War REALLY Never Changes…

by

There’s  a good chance every review you see of Fallout: New Vegas will have the epic Fallout series quote in the first paragraph: “War. War never changes…” There’s a pretty good reason for it, because Fallout: New Vegas feeds you more of what made Fallout 3 glorious coupled with all the things that made it prickly.

Ok, in Part 1 we took apart the PS3 and removed the disc drive. Here, we’re going to break open the drive and replace the laser. Be careful, the drive has a number of delicate parts and small screws. Be sure to keep track of everything and don’t exert too much force when disassembling the drive.

Walking Dead: Episode 1 Review

by

Howard Hawkes was known to say that good movies have 3 great scenes, and no bad ones. By my count, The Walking Dead series premiere had at least 5 great scenes, a few lame ones, but no bad ones, and that’s a terrific achievement for a show whose source material has had my heart for the past 6 years.
